Founded by Odile Hainaut and Claire Pijoulat in 2011, WantedDesign continues to solidify its reputation as a creative and inspiring platform for designers, manufacturers, artisans, students, design institutions, the media, and design lovers from around the world.

WantedDesign and Archtober

Design was in full swing last month in New York with Archtober, and we’re so happy to have co-hosted four incredible events as part of the program. Blurred Limits at Moroso by Marc Thorpe

WantedDesign had the pleasure to co-host a Conversation with Marc Thorpe and Patrizia Mosoro, at the Moroso showroom in Soho on October 22nd, 2013. With 300+ people in attendance we, along with Patrizia Moroso and Spencer Bailey, Executive Editor of Surface magazine, celebrated the opening of designer Marc Thorpe’s “Blurred Limits” exhibition for Moroso. Moderated by Spencer, the discussion was welcomed with positive acclaim and seats were filled, making it a packed house, with standing room only.

Design Within Reach’s new Studio design concept

What a night! Kicking off our busy month was a conversation with DWR President + CEO, John Edelman, DWR VP of Creative Michael Sainato, Sayigh+Duman Principals Laith Sayigh and Koray Duman, and 2×4 Founding Partner/Creative Director Georgianna Stout. The panel was moderated by Design Journalist, Julie Taraska. The talk, quite a success, was hosted in DWR’s Greene Street Studio and discussed, specifically, the rollout of their new studio design concept which will be officially unveiled at their 57th street location, set to open in January 2014.
