1:00-5:00pm: Unity Quilt Workshop by Libs Elliott
Libs Elliott will be sewing on-site and running the Unity Quilt open workshop within Industry City, Brooklyn. As an exercise in unity and variety, each participant will be encouraged to design a quilt block that will be sewn by Libs into the overall piece.
11:00am-6:00pm: IC Store by WantedDesign is open
The Industry City Store curated by WantedDesign is open all year long and features U.S. and international design studios, including Alessi, Eric Trine, Areaware, Fort Standard and more. The store is also a place for pop-up events all year long such as book signings, conversations and more.
1:00pm-6:00pm: Open Studios Industry City
Over 75 studios at Industry City will be open featuring painters, photographers, sculptors, stained-glass artists, woodworkers, jewelers, textile designers, graphic designers, and other makers and manufacturers.
