We’d like to thank all the journalists and medias that visited and covered WantedDesign 2014. This past fourth edition of WantedDesign proved the most successful to date. With more than 11,000 attendees, close to 15% of which were press, both international and national, we were able to garner nearly 550,000,000 media impressions. WantedDesign and Industry City

For NYCxDESIGN, WantedDesign brought a successful 10 day program at Industry City in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, including an amazing opening night on May 10. With an attendance of more than 4,000 people, Industry City was stage for a wide range of multi-disciplinary design events, open to the design community and to the public. Bringing the design community together, Industry City/Design featured a mix of local and international work from traditional makers, innovative companies, design collectives and emerging studios.

From graphic design to furniture making, lighting installation to artisan demonstrations, visitors had the opportunity to explore and interact with the vast world of design through group exhibitions, installations, workshops, demonstrations, forums and open studio tours. In the courtyard was a creation commissioned to acclaimed designer and artist Sebastian Errazuriz, who moved his design studio to Industry City in 2013. More

Conversation Series and Program Report

WantedDesign 2014 hosted the Conversation Series supported by Metropolis magazine from May 17th trough May 19th.
