NYCxDesign, May 8-19

WantedDesign has been a strong supporter and partner of NYCxDESIGN, New York City’s official annual citywide celebration of design, for the past few years. Now in its third year, NYCxDESIGN will take place from Friday, May 8, to Tuesday, May 19. Last Thursday, WantedDesign joined other fellow steering committee members for the first official NYCxDESIGN press announcement at the newly reopened Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. NYCxDESIGN will be proposing an exciting program for this year, with WantedDesign as one of the main highlights, both in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The new website makes it more user-friendly and efficient, including the ability to curate lists, improved sorting and categorization and better alignment with new media. We are also excited to announce that we’ll be co-hosting the NYCxDESIGN launch party on Saturday, May 9 at Industry City in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. More
