From May 7 – 17 our Brooklyn chapter will return to Industry City for its second year, with even more design school representation and exhibitions showcasing cutting-edge creativity. A group of students from design schools around the world will get their hands dirty to produce objects with diverse materials, including glass, textiles, ceramic, and wood. The workshop is designed to promote collaboration rather than competition, and students will present their final projects throughout the event and in Manhattan May 16.

At both the Brooklyn and Manhattan exhibitions, WantedDesign will unveil its program dedicated to French designers and manufacturers. The project is part of a partnership with the French Embassy, which is launching a new program for French-American exchange : “Oui Design”.

From May 3 to May 17, New York City’s annual citywide celebration of design, NYCxDESIGN is coming back in full swing. Placing New York as a global design capital and a growing hub for innovation and creativity, NYCxDESIGN supports the design industry at large.
