IC DESIGN FESTIVAL BY WANTEDDESIGN
Industry City is a destination for design, housing a robust artist and maker community and celebrating the creative process during its annual WantedDesign festival and Open Studios program each May. Last year, in conjunction with NYCxDESIGN the program expanded to become known as the IC Design Festival by WantedDesign, showcasing Brooklyn as a hub for diverse, multidisciplinary thinkers, makers, and entrepreneurs.
The program appeals to anyone interested in the future of design and the next wave of design talent. The festival includes a showcase of design school projects from all over the world, outdoor installations, a series of talks and panels, hands on crafting, as well as activities and behind the scenes access to artist and designer studios based at Industry City.
