Projects: “Electric Macaroni” was inspired by the gesture drawing. Movement is embedded in the form and operation of the piece. Made of brass tubes, cloth cord, and LEDs, a different pattern of light reflects on the wall every time it is moved.

“Rings Of Fire:” was inspired by the dynamic motion and construction of hoop skirts from the late 19th century. Made of brass tubes, cast brass, and LEDs, the lamp uses elements of scale and repetition to initiate engagement.

About Elish Warlop: Elish Warlop is an Architect, Furniture, and Object designer. Her work reflects an experimentation with construction and connections. It also addresses notions of scale repetition, and engagement, as a way to slowly reveal each object. Working with her hands and constantly testing the limits of her designs, is an important part of Elish’s process. She currently works designing Interiors, Lighting, Objects, and Jewelry at her studio in Denver, CO.
