The work of photo-artist Paul Clemence blends together the worlds of art, design and architecture via photographs that express the intangible and defy the obvious. Whether creating a photo based object or a turning a photograph into a large architectural skin wrap, Clemence’s work is always pushing the boundaries of the photography medium to new levels. For WantedDesign at Industry City he will bring the waters of the Gowanus Bay indoors via the photo/video intsallation “Walk on Water”. The project will give the rich history of the neighboring body of water a contemporary spin, increasing awareness of its importance and its continued relevance still today. Feeding the creativ energy of the project are guest artist Pryor Callaway and Brooklyn’s own Flavorpaper.
