“Round Two”
Last year’s debut show, entitled Cross Grain explored the intricacies of CNC craftsmanship as a means to creating designs in which every finalized piece was created by the CNC process. This years’ collection, called “Round Two” explores how alternative materials and processes work in tandem with CNC technology. While last year’s designs utilized Maker Anonymous’ custom CNC technology on wood, this year the team has leapt into other materials (metals, resins, glass, solid surfaces) and additional processes (mold making, 4th axis machining). The result of this collaboration is both unique and exceptional where each object is set apart by process, material, and function.
