Lars Beller Fjetland grew up on the west coast of Norway, where he has nurtured a lifelong fascination for the marriage of function with the finest of nature’s materials in furniture, interiors and lighting.

Graduating with a Bachelors’ Degree from Bergen National Academy of the Arts in 2012, Lars is constantly looking to broadening his horizon as a dedicated explorer of form and function through various new projects.

 He has been the recipient of several awards, including: Designer of the year 2014, Bo Bedre (NO), Designer of the year 2013, Elle Decoration (NO), New Designers Award 2013, Elle Decoration (UK), and Young designer of the year 2012, Elle Decoration (NO).

 Lars Beller Fjetland will be presenting as part of Calm, Cool, and Collected: New Designs from Norway.
