La Tlapalería

We are a collective group that seeks to be a platform for young Mexican designers, rotating members with every new collection. Using traditional craft techniques for the creation of products, we combine the talents of designers and artisans in order to generate new, highly aesthetic, powerful concepts.

We want to tell the stories that show the world what Mexico is, taking care of our analysis in order to encourage the respect for our culture, fair-trade, the value of artisans and their techniques.

This year, they will present a new collection; Albures. From the Spanish word for “puns” or “play with words”, Albures features interactive objects that reinterpret the Mexican linguistic culture.
