ENSCI – Diplorama+

To spark a dialogue between technology and aesthetics, make sophistication familiar, reveal technology in a bid to better domesticate it and to generate new practices: this is what these young ENSCI-Les Ateliers graduates express in the  8 projects presented within the Diplorama+ exhibition, supported by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy.

In these projects, which were all produced in 2014, our young designers turned the technological systems they used into modes of expression in their own right. They also turned their minds to defining alternative production modes and installing productive dialogues between immaterial and material worlds: in summary, they worked to make design a major tool for inhabitable worlds. With the participation of Sylvain Chassériaux, Handcrafted Electronics
Maxime Loiseau, Roll to roll
Axel Morales, Piezzographie
Alexandre Poisson, Dune
Samy Rio, Tube Story
Christopher Santerre, L’objet réflexif
Pauline Taillandier, Face à face
Philippe Thibault, Figures et Variations
