As with everything in Austin’s recent years, the design community there has grown quickly. Austin’s Outside the Box is a collection of delicious tactile surfaces…inviting a touch while showing evidence of the maker’s hand. Representing an array of materials, this group is a cross-section of Austin’s offerings, many of which come from designers and artisans who have a strong history of designing both for – and with – Austin chefs and eaters.
