Carlos Obregón
Industrial product designer, Carlos Obregón, has spent his artistic career pushing the boundaries of his practice by reappropriating discarded raw materials into new things. Innovative lighting, interior design objects and one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture are the work of an emerging design talent and leading interior manufacturer representing the creativity for which Argentine design is known.
Among his designs we can find: chairs, tables, benches, armchairs, bars, stools, wine racks and light fixtures. Upon the request of his own clients, Obregon has also designed promotional gifts and products for different Argentine companies, restaurants, transport companies, hotels, wineries and other businesses in the agricultural industry. Obregon’s pieces are the perfect assemblage to fit tasting rooms, wine cellars or to endow any home with a special character.
Obregon’s innovation lies in the way he reuses and recycles the raw materials in his pieces. His talent lies in the fusion of contemporary design; novel techniques and the most exquisite craftsmanship that gives life to environmentally friendly pieces that portray the regional trends in design.
Curadoras
Curadoras was born from the desire of bringing the world of art into everyday life by creating unique pieces that also hide an obvious use; objects with personality that transform each daily gesture into something unique. Designs to contemplate and use.
We are convinced that craftsmanship gives objects a distinct identity. Each material is carefully selected and they work with their hands on every concept seeing no boundaries between art and design when creating.
