Piano Nobile

Piano Nobile is a design studio and fabrication workshop. Their work combines structure and surface design, fine art and fine craft. From lush textiles to intricate steel systems, they seek out challenging projects that span the creative spectrum. The design studio creates systems and plans for homes, commercial spaces, and industry. The workshop produces organic linens, lighting, and home goods.

Founding partners Nick Robertson and Isabelle Grizzard Robertson thrive on collaboration and experimentation, honoring each others’ unique backgrounds in architecture and fine art.  Their wholesale goods can be found in stores throughout the US and in Japan. Their design work has been featured in national print publications and websites, including Sunset Magazine, Martha Stewart Living, Bloesom, and Apartment Therapy.
