México Territorio Creativo

México Territorio Creativo is an initiative supported by Design Week Mexico and local designers interested in promoting and exhibiting contemporary Mexican design expressed through their dedication to materials, method, design and the passion for mixing innovation as well as supporting high quality handmade traditional craft in a modern way as a key part of its philosophy.

MTC brings together for WantedDesign a perfect blend of well-established and up-and-coming talent from designers, architects, artists and artisans studios by gathering their ideas on a design that is profoundly shaped by its origins and enhanced by its role in the present day.

Presenting a curatorial vision by design experts Andrea Cesarman and Marco Coello, who in 2012 successfully presented a collective exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City titled “Fabrica Mexicana” (Mexican Factory). Again together they gather a complete selection of work that examines, promotes and updates the perspective of present day Mexican design, it’s paradigms and their commitment in celebrating local creativity.
