Design Schools Workshop

For the fifth year, WantedDesign brought together a group of students from International design schools to participate in the WantedDesign workshop! Conceived as a collaborative activity rather than a competitive one, the program is an important part of WantedDesign, and has been very successful in promoting both the schools and foster the international network between young designers. In 2015, all the activities related to the WantedDesign Schools Workshop took place at Industry City, Brooklyn, and the students presented their final projects at The Terminal Stores building, in Manhattan.

2015 THEME: DESIGN FOREVER

WantedDesign Schools Workshop challenged students to think about the lives of objects. In other words to design with the idea that what is being made will last forever. Students tried to understand and pinpoint the aspects that make an object disposable and imagine innovative ways of designing a world with no waste. More
