American Design Honors 2018 Recipient: Oliver Haslegrave – founder and creative director – Home Studios

Launched in 2015, American Design Honors was created by WantedDesign co-founders Odile Hainaut and Claire Pijoulat, and Jerry Helling, President of Bernhardt Design, to recognize up-and-coming American designers who embody excellence in creative design and superior entrepreneurial ability. For consideration, candidates must possess a solid body of work, express a unique design language and offer a pioneering new design business model. Through the American Design Honors program, Bernhardt Design and WantedDesign aim to promote exceptional American Design in the broader international arena while providing a means of support for young designers seeking to amplify their impact and reach.

Oui Design 2018

Launched in 2016, OUI Design aims to foster creative exchange in design between France and the U.S. It is the first program initiated by the French Embassy to support fruitful and durable partnerships between design professionals on both sides of the Atlantic. WantedDesign will be again a main partner for the third edition of Oui Design. Through a diverse program comprised of workshops, exhibitions, and talks, Oui Design will feature collaborative projects exploring new modes of production, at the intersection of design, art, and crafts.
