The Detroit Made display will showcase a diverse collection of products from local designers and makers, and highlight Detroit as a global center for design and innovation.

Featured Detroit Designers Include:
Adora Bella Ceramics specializes in functional, artesian, porcelain objects for your home.  Alex Drew & No One is a Brooklyn-born/Detroit-based design studio that develops modern furniture and objects. Adam Shirley works primarily with steel to create two and three dimensional objects, exploring form and volume in model-sized pieces. Detroit Wallpaper Co. produced wallpaper that bridges the gap between mass-production and the boutique experience using their online color customizing tool that allows you to personalize over 60 patterns and colors in real time. Jose Reguiero started his studio in Detroit in 1981 and has designed and made hundreds of furniture pieces and decorative items since. Kem3D uses wood, man-made wood products, and rapid prototyping to create furniture and functional objects through an investigation of complex challenges presented by proportions and structures. Leadhead Glass makes terrariums handcrafted out of reclaimed glass and wood from deconstructed homes in Detroit. Pewabic is a ceramic studio and educational community founded in 1904 specialized in tlie, homewares and other objects. Quetarshe is a fiber and textiles design studio that creates textiles and decorative arts for the home, fashion, public, theater and educational industries. Richard Bennett is a self-taught sculptor whose work consists of a highly stylish line of contemporary furniture and accessories for residential and commercial markets. Smith Shop produces quality metalwork of all descriptions specializing in the custom fabrication of gold, silver, copper, brass and steel while also producing limited-production wholesale runs ranging from jewelry to architectural hardware. The Floyd Leg produces a framework that allows you to create a table from any flat surface.

The Detroit Made exhibit is organized by The Detroit Creative Corridor Center (DC3), in collaboration Detroit Wallpaper Co. The DC3 is an economic development organization providing support to Detroit’s creative industries in order to grow Detroit’s creative economy and recognize Detroit as a global center for design. Detroit Wallpaper was selected by the DC3 to curate and design a display that accurately represents Detroit’s design and manufacturing aesthetic.
