Holiday Festivities at IC Store by WantedDesign in Brooklyn

As temperatures drop and the holiday season is upon us, our store will host a number of festively appropriate events including cooking demonstrations, book signings, a jewelry pop-up shop, and a tea party. The Impossible Project Polaroid Camera Pop-up Shop
Saturday December 5 – 11:00AM – 6:00PM

 Lizzy with The Impossible Project will host an evening where visitors can watch a real photo develop in their hands. Featuring a selection of the 200 million Polaroid cameras that they saved, the event will touch on the chemistry that film gives every photo, “that unique depth and texture that digital can‘t get close to.” A small assortment of various Polaroids models and film will be for sale in The IC Store by WantedDesign.

The American Design Club Pop-up Shop
All Weekend December 11-13 – 11:00AM – 6:00PM

All weekend, December 11th through the 13th, The American Design Club will host a showing of a selected of designs by the talented emerging designers that they work with. The event headlines Friday with night Happy Hour.

Strand book signing
December 12th – Time TBD

On Saturday, the weekend festivities continue with a book signing hosted by Strand featuring Suzanne Konig’s new book, MADE IN BK. In honor of the weekend bash, our amazing store manager, Sébastien, will cook his ‘fabulous cannelé.’

Tea Party and Kids pop-up shop

Saturday December 19th – 11:00AM-6:00PM

In line with the festivities of the holiday season, the IC store will host a day entirely devoted to kids (and of course their parents). Complete with a playful selection of toys from Areaware, the event will encompass various merrymaking activities, including an impromptu tea party!
